C.C.I.R.Q. Profile

THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY  ROMANIA-QATAR was established in the year 2011, as a Romanian non-profit organization, nongovernmental, public utility, autonomous and non-political. The five founding members have initiated the establishment of C.C.I.R.Q. from the desire of fulfilling the economical and commercial needs of the Romanian market, information exchange and the expertise of the investors in the two countries.

We gladly invite to join C.C.I.R.Q. all the business people in Romania or Qatar who already have economical-commercial relations with partners from the other country or want to initiate any kind of business activity between the two countries, in domains like: Oil, gas, petro chemistry; Finances, banking, insurance; Civilian construction; IT; electro technical sector/transportation production and electricity distribution; Tourism; labor force; high-skilled personnel.

The aim of C.C.I.R.Q.:

THE BILATERAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY  ROMANIA-QATAR  is founded with the aim of developing the economic cooperation between the two countries in bilateral relations, as well as in international ones, also supporting the interests of Romanian and Qatari economic agents in their relations with the national authorities and with the foreign specialized organizations.

In order to accomplish the aim, C.C.I.R.Q. has the following objectives:

a)   supports the development of commercial and industrial cooperation of its members with Romanian and Qatari companies;

b)   informs its members and other business people of the exterior and interior commerce regulations from Romania and Qatar, of the commercial, banks and parts that will collaborate, of the commercial exchanging possibilities and the regulations of those particular countries;

c)    supports the execution of developing any economic cooperation projects;

d)   provides informing activities and commercial research;

e)   supports the economic agents in executing import-export commercial activities;

f)     supports the activity of professional specialization of its members and other economic agents, in accordance with the association’s interests;

g)   initiates meetings and contacts between Romanian and Qatari economic agents, as well as other kinds of business meetings that can lead to the development of cooperation between the two countries;

h)   supports the organizing of specialized fairs and presentations;

i)     promotes direct actions of developing business on the two markets, mediates bank support for its members, and for other economic agents interested, upon request;

j)     edits  periodical and non-periodical magazines, advertising and informing in the domains of commerce, industry, services and agriculture or publishes in different national and abroad newspapers and magazines aspects of economic Romanian-Qatari cooperation and possibilities of cooperating with other countries;

k)    makes services upon the request of other firms with no patrimonial aim in other countries, based on reciprocity or based on tariff, depending on the nature of the service;

l)     facilitates the direct connection between the learning organizations and students of technical and economical universities in the last year of study, from the two countries.
